Alamosa Senior Citizens, Inc. thrives thanks to the strong relationships we’ve built with local and regional partners who share our mission: to enhance the quality of life for older adults in the San Luis Valley. These partnerships make it possible for us to offer vital services like nutrition programs, wellness activities, outreach, and education—all in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

As our longest supporter, the City of Alamosa helps us by providing funding for infrastructure and partnership. This helps the center provide services that engage the community, helps seniors age at home safely, and socialize in a safe setting.

Alamosa County provides funding that allows us to continue offering the community essential services to age in place. Together, we provide healthy aging services, civic engagement, and access to public resources for seniors across the region.

Through coordination, the SLVAAA provides essential services like our noon meal program Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week.

Our educational partnerships bring life-long learning opportunities, connection, and guest presentations. These connections keep our members healthy, engaged, and inspired.

We are grateful for the generous support of local grocery stores, banks, American Legion, Elk’s Club, Women’s Citizenship Club, RSVP, SLV GO, San Luis Valley Development Resource Center, and other service organizations that donate time, goods, and sponsorships for special events, activities, and Thursday meals.
